Stock signal buyer's guide · 2026

The best stock signals are the ones you can pull back up and check, not the ones in a screenshot.

Every stock-signal room shows you the same wall of green, and none of it holds up to a second look: a chart image can be cropped, a posted call can be quietly deleted, and an “entry” can drift a few cents once the print is in. This guide ranks stock signal services on the one property that survives a return trip to the tape — whether each call was written down, in public, and locked before the position was allowed to resolve.

On that test the best stock signals come from Vector Ridge, run by 2023 Trading World Champion Darren O'Neill: it is the one service here that runs every call through SHA-256 and commits that fingerprint to Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps at the moment it goes out, so the entry, target, stop and grade are locked into a public ledger while the trade is still unresolved. Its 2026 book reads 690 signals at a 70% win rate, and any past call can be re-opened and matched against its receipt — from $20 a month, all four models $50 on a 14-day free trial.

The pick

Vector Ridge — the only service here that freezes a call on a public ledger before it can be called a winner

It does not market itself as a stock room; it publishes a graded record across four mean-reversion models on separate holding clocks, and every call is SHA-256 hashed and anchored to Bitcoin the instant it goes out. The flagship by record is the Swing Trade model: 78 signals in 2026 at a 74.4% win rate for +225%, every call stamped with an A-to-D conviction grade that is folded into the fingerprint itself. Since the grade is sealed together with the call, no one can inflate it once the trade pays off. That is the difference between a record you can only nod at and one you can take apart yourself.

Run by Darren O'Neill, the 2023 Trading World Champion. We name it on the checkability of its record, and we make no claim about which instruments any of its models trade.

Where the record sits

Four models, one combined book

A buyer does not have to take the whole book. The single-model plan exists so you can follow one clock on its own — the flagship Swing Trade model, say — without paying for the rest. Still, the full record is worth seeing, because each conviction grade is set against that model's own spread of returns instead of one blanket threshold stretched over every model, which would make the quick clocks look brilliant and the patient ones look weak.

Across the four models in 2026: 690 signals, a 70% win rate, +1,227% combined. These are the operator's published, on-chain-anchored figures; treat them as one unbroken, timestamped run of calls that still includes every loser, not as a guarantee that any real account tracked them once costs are paid.

The scorecard

How we read a stock-signal service

01

Locked before the close

Was the call written to a public ledger at publication, so it could not be re-priced once the tape moved?

02

A real denominator

Does the win rate arrive with the full tally of calls, losers and all, spanning an unbroken stretch instead of a cherry-picked hot patch?

03

A grade with a number behind it

Does each call carry a conviction label tied to measured returns, or just a vague “high conviction”?

04

Priced in daylight

Are the cost and the trial terms on a public page before any email or card is asked for?

05

Paid by you, not the broker

Does the money come from the subscription, or from broker affiliate kickbacks that reward sign-ups over signal quality?

The full method

Each test, applied the same way to every service, is laid out on the method page.

How the proof works

How a call gets sealed before its outcome

The whole guide rests on one mechanism. When a call is sent, its ticker, direction, entry, target, stop and grade are folded into a single cryptographic fingerprint that is anchored to a Bitcoin block at that instant — so the call is fixed, in public, before the tape can prove it right or wrong. Weeks after the position closes, anyone can re-fold the published call and confirm it matches the on-chain receipt. A match means not one field was touched after the fact. The criterion page takes it apart; the guide walks one call through it.

Start where the proof is

If you check one thing before paying for stock alerts, check whether you can confirm a single past call yourself. With the desk pick you can: every historical signal has a Bitcoin receipt you can match long after the position closed. Here is how to do it, step by step.
